Meet
Jackie & Beth
Jackie Rowe (Mum) and Bethany (daughter) are the owners of Bliss in a Bag. Both creative entrepreneurs with their own individual businesses, Jackie as a Life Coach & Circle Facilitator and Beth as a Portrait Photographer.
Our story
Jackie and Beth had attended Cacao ceremony’s before which they didn’t feel had a sense of connection along with the disappointment of cold gritty Cacao served in a plastic cup. Jackie wanted to create a ceremony where the Cacao drink would be rich, warm and inviting and you would feel wrapped in a strong embrace of connection.. Jackie sourced a quality raw Cacao, wrote a beautiful ritual and meditation for the ceremony and Beth developed a recipe using select spices to enhance the cacao experience. The result was an amazing rich, smooth Cacao drink with a special flavour which was served warm in a beautiful bowl

The women in circle could not get enough of this amazing drink, using fingers to wipe out the dish to get every last drop. As they drank they felt a joyful shift of energy in the room with smiles and laughter. Their meditation was deeper than ever, Sharing it was like being in bliss with beautiful clear visions. The same thing happened on the next circle and one lady expressed she would love to be able to share the same experience at home with her family. Jackie gifted her some Cacao and the unique spice mix, with instructions on how to have a Cacao ceremony at home. The feedback was amazing, from the bliss of the meditation, to a wonderful way to enjoy a fun peaceful way together relaxed in her own home.

We knew we had created something special as the women responded and wanted to offer the same experience to others and thus Bliss in a Bag was born.

From the foothills of Peru
At the heart of Bliss in a Bag is the beautiful raw Cacao we use which is a true gift from mother earth and a plant traditionally grown in South America.

Our organic raw cacao is sourced from Peru. We have partnered with a small farming collective who produce cacao through sustainable and ethical practices providing an income for many families. We are proud to partner with them to bring you Bliss in a Bag.
